Es muss schon beeindruckend sein, wie ein leeres Dorf innerhalb von Tagen in einen riesigen Verkaufbasar umgewandelt wird.

from my side, my "meeting point" will be the Luc Hennion stand, normally not far away from your stand.

We are in the phase of the check-up of the cyanograph for quadrichromy printing. If all things will be ok, next week the printing phase will start, and some day before the SM expo the books will be available. I'll send a global message to everybody when the "baby" will be ready... :D

eheheheh... I'm not Simon Le Bon from the glorious 80's group of Duran Duran to make signatures in books or something else...

We have previewed to come with more or less 100 books to the expo. The price will be 90€ (not defined at 100% but more probably this one) and clearly for who are interested can be a good occasion to recover the heavily volume (512pages and rigid cover) without paying the postal charges.

But as said before, this is not an "official information release".
I hope anyway to confirm this during the month of June.

also ich weiß noch nicht, wann ich kommen werde aber es wird wahrscheinlich eher samstag oder sonntag werden
also, da ich zwar so gut wie alles im englischen verstanden hab(bis auf ein paar wörter) frage ich lieber nochmal nach
also Xiphogonium ich kann dich dan beim stand Devonian Trilobites antreffen, wenn ich das richtig verstanden hab
allerdings, was ich garnicht verstanden hab ist, das neue trilobiten-buch, wo
90€ kosten wird, muss ich ihn treffen um es kaufen zu können oder verkauft er es an einem stand(muss noch meine eltern überreden ob ich es kaufen kann) leider darf ich mir dan karrantiert keinen trilobiten mehr kaufen

PS: sorry, dass ich den text nich in englisch schreiben kann da ich noch schlechter englisch schreiben als lesen kann

hast du schon recht verstanden soweit! ;)

Stimmt, du kannst mich am Stand von Devonian Trilobites in der Halle antreffen.

Gar nicht weit davon, ebenfalls in der Halle, wird das Trilobuch ausliegen, soweit ich Enrico verstanden habe (ich glaub' sogar quer gegenüber).

Dann sprech' mal mit deinen Eltern, evtl. kann man ja ein Exemplar zusätzlich zurücklegen, aber du solltest dann bald Laut geben, da wir ab Montag schon unterwegs in Richtung Elsaß sind.

wiso kann das mit dem rechtbehalten mir nie im englischunterricht passieren........
ich brauche noch etwas zeit, um meine eltern weichzukochen

PS: sind solche bücher eher einfach odr schwiriger zu lesen das, wo ihr auf englisch geschrieben hattet konnte ich gut lesen und, die wörter, wo ich nicht wusste konnte ich vom satzbau her rauslesen

Nunja, was die eher fachspezifische Literatur zu Trilobiten angeht, so ist es nicht ganz einfach für den regulären Benutzer die englische Literatur in entsprechender Form zu verinnerlichen.

Ich bilde mir ein des Englischen so einigermaßen mächtig zu sein, trotzdem muß ich mitunter des öfteren und zum wiederholten Male in entsprechender Hilfsliteratur nachschauen.

Es gibt allerdings auch deutschsprachige Fachliteratur, bei der ich genausowenig verstehe ... <g>.

Soviel ich weiß ist Enricos Buch so ziemlich dazwischen, also nicht gerade das Megafachgequassel aber auch nicht das 100-Vokabel-Werk. Aber das heißt ja nicht daß man nicht einige Jahre später in der Lage ist das Ganze besser zu verstehen .... und dann wird es schwierig die Literatur nachzukaufen, wenn sie in nur kleinen Auflagen gedruckt wurde. Da hat sich dann längst jeder Interessierte sein Exemplar gesichert. Zudem soll das Buch sehr bebildert sein, auch das zählt! :-)

Hallo Noel,

es ist immer so eine Sache mit der Literatur, gerade am Anfang lohnt es sich schon reich bebilderte Literatur sich zu besorgen, besonders wenn die Abbildungen gut beschriftet und erläutert sind. Ich habe bislang auch nicht bereut mir das Buch von Levi-Setti zu den Trilobiten gekauft zu haben. Mit steigener Kenntnis der Fachsprache, englisch wie deutsch nicht gerade leicht, erhöht sich mit der Zeit der Verständnisgrad. Gut 90 € sind nicht wenig, aber Fachliteratur kostet leider immer richtig viel Geld, gerade wegen der vielen Bilder. Es gibt leider auch nur wenig bis nichts vergleichbares an deutschsprachiger Trilobitenliteratur und so wird man nicht umhin können, sich mit dem englischen anzufreunden. Immer noch besser als chinesisch ;-)

lg und ich werde auch in St. Marie sein, von Donnerstag bis Samstag, allerdings bei Trifoss, der Konkurenz ;-)
