Hallo,

habe diese beiden Asaphiden(?) von einer Sammlungsauflösung. Sie messen etwa 6-7cm. Auf dem Foto sehen sie sehr glänzend aus. Das liegt nur an dem Farbvertiefer, der noch nicht ganz getrocknet war. Leider war auch hier kein vernünftiger Zettel dabei.

Ja, das sind Asaphiden aus Schweden, die nähere Bestimmung angesichts des Zustands würde ich gerne den "üblichen Verdächtigen" überlassen! Pfeifer

Er ist in exdickbäuchiger Asaphus viel ähnlich, gammelt in exdickbäuchigen kalk limestone nahe Narke im Suéde. Ordovicien Untergebener (arénig. Reihen) hallo

He looks like in of expotbellied Asaphus a lot, bums around in expotbellied kalk limestone near Narke in Suéde. Ordovicien subordinate (arénig. put into series) hello

Hi Hervé,

you speak about the expansus-limestone from Närke in Sweden. It might be, but the limestone looks not realy like the one I have seen there. The stone is greenish-grey (gris-verte) and the shells are not good preserved. The specimen shown here by Chris can be from everywhere, also from erratic boulders, we can find in Northern Germany with baltic origin (mainland Sweden, Isle of Öland, Bornholm, the Baltic See or even Estonia).

Its hard to tell without more informations. Chris got that trilobite from another collection without informations;-)
