Diagnose générale de cette famille :
Céphalon : glabelle ayant essentiellement un lobe principal effacé
Ne comportant pas de sillons glabellaire distinct. Présence d’un
Sillon ou bordure céphalique
Thorax : composé de 3 segments thoraciques.
Pygidium : pygidium équivalent au céphalon de petite taille.

Répartition : du Cambrien inférieur au Cambrien moyen
